Our idea of entertaining surfing revolves around speed. Generating as much of it as possible, and maintaining complete control while doing so. Twin fins and fishes pose a challenge to surfers because it’s harder to slow down. Halting tail slides in steeper parts of the wave usually aren’t manageable, which means you better have a sturdy rail game. Shane Sykes meets this criteria and flaunts it as he flies down near-perfect walls at J-Bay.
